A View From China, India On Carbon Dioxide Emissions

In the coming decades, carbon dioxide emissions from China, India and other rapidly developing countries are expected to grow rapidly. So how are international concerns about climate change viewed in China and India? We're gonna go to China and India and to NPR correspondents in those countries, beginning with NPR's Anthony Kuhn in Beijing. By the same token, India says, look, our carbon footprint is pretty small, where the average person in China now emits roughly the same amount of carbon dioxide as the average European.
